Thank everybody for making it such a great conference!
During the conference, all presentations are recorded if the speaker gives his/her permission. You will find these recordings on the Schedule page (little camera icons next to the title of the presentation).
The recordings are facilitated through the support of the Teaching Support Center of the Vienna University of Technology.
Some presenters also provided papers on their work, which are collected in the conference proceedings. Download them here (beware, 16.7mb) and check out all the background information, details on the methodology and literature references.
We are glad to announce another Gold sponsor for SotM-Europe: Mozilla
Mozilla's mission is to promote openness, innovation and opportunity
on the web. OpenStreetMap helps to bring along that vision in its own
space, and therefore Mozilla supports those efforts strongly and is
proud to be a Gold sponsor.

Happy to announce Tupalo.com as a Silver sponsor for SotM-Europe!
Tupalo.com is a local search community where close to 4 million people every month discover, review and share the best local businesses around the World, such as Restaurants in Vienna and Beauty Salons in Rotterdam. As long-time fans of the OpenStreetMap initiative, we have integrated OSM local data into our listings pages and are working on a way to feed the collaborative efforts of the Tupalo.com community back into the OSM data set. Founded in 2007, Tupalo.com is live in 5 EU countries and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with additional operations in Rotterdam and Warsaw.
– Mike Borras, Tupalo.com

Happy to announce iosphere as our next Silver sponsor for SotM-Europe.

The app is the first among several apps powered by the company's own QuartzMaps vector rendering framework. QuartzMaps is a native Apple iOS map framework and can be licensed for use in other apps. We are grateful to welcome a further Silver sponsor for SotM-Europe: Esri.
Esri's sponsorship and participation in open source geospatial events gives us the opportunity to dialogue with the GIS and open source technologists to obtain feedback from open source developers and users, and share our experiences as well. Our goal is to ensure that feedback from these discussions is reflected in future Esri products and business direction, with the intention of continuing to help the geospatial community.
– Frank Holsmuller, Esri
After Steve Coast last week, we are very pleased to confirm the second keynote speaker for the European OpenStreetMap conference (SotM-Europe) in Vienna: Muki Haklay, researcher at UCL London. Muki is no stranger to the OSM community: If you attended former SotM-conferences you probably know him and his exciting research on OSM data quality as well as the characteristics of mappers.
This year we would like to establish a special focus on research with a relation to OpenStreetMap. Muki will make the perfect connection between the OSM community and the research world with his talk "
Observing from afar or joining the action: OSM and GIScience research". We are looking forward to his keynote!
If you haven't registered yet, make sure to get your ticket now!
With infoware we can announce our first Gold sponsor for SotM-Europe.
